Duties: Read work orders or receive instructions from supervisors to determine work requirements Mix substances or compounds as needed for work activities Fill cracks, holes, or joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other fillers Cover surfaces with drop-cloths or masking tape and paper or plastic to protect surfaces Smooth surfaces using sandpaper, scrapers, brushes, steel wool, sanding machines or pressure washers Apply primers or sealers as appropriate to prepare surfaces for finish coats Apply paint to surfaces Use appropriate tools, such as but no limited to, brushes, paint sprayers, pressure or steam cleaners, putty knives, scrapers, and caulking guns Drive company vehicle Other duties as assigned   Position Requirements Education, Knowledge and Skills: Valid Alaska Driver’s License and clean driving record required 3 years painting experience preferred Familiar with and able to use common painting tools, techniques and practices Able to communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers Able to climb ladders Able to lift 90 lbs.
