POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Senior Advisor will collaborate closely with members of The Clearing's leadership and delivery teams to ensure excellent client delivery, proper representation of TC brand and service offerings, and meet defined company growth objectives.

WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO

  1. Provide domain-specific subject matter expertise and advice to The Clearing leadership and delivery staff

  2. Apply expert functional knowledge and experience to assigned projects and/or processes, occasionally providing expertise and support to multiple project teams simultaneously

  3. Analyze complex client problems and, working with TC internal project teams, recommend, monitor, and execute best practice solutions for clients; be accountable for customer satisfaction and success

  4. Maintain current knowledge of developments in relevant area(s)of expertise and create channels for sharing this across the firm

  5. Review papers, briefings, and project approaches that are technical or operational in nature

  6. Prepare, review, and/or approve deliverables (graphic and text), proposals, and/or presentations related to functional knowledge

  7. Identify project opportunities and execute them, as appropriate; drive revenue growth

  8. Establish relationships with current and prospective customers and present human-centric solutions that are data-informed

  9. Meet key performance metrics, prescribed by The Clearing on an annual basis, related to utilization and business growth, creating follow-on and new client opportunities

  10. Perform other duties as assigned

 
Position Requirements

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  1. Bachelor’s degree in related field required; advanced degree preferred

  2. Fifteen years of operational, functional, and/or policy experience directly related to area of expertise is required

  3. Active Top Secret U.S. government security clearance

  4. Current government suitability clearance highly preferred

WHAT YOU’RE GOOD AT

  1. Demonstrated experience with large-scale change initiatives

  2. Strong competency in design thinking and systems modeling

  3. Proficient in change strategy, organizational design, and leadership development

  4. Strong group facilitation skills with the ability to leverage and infuse various engagement techniques and strategies

  5. Experience with quantitative and qualitative analysis

  6. Client/customer focus with a sense of urgency to deliver quality work

  7. Ability to manage and collaborate well with a team, and to remain flexible in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment

  8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills

HOW YOU’LL DO IT

The following are some key experiences that our management consultants, at all levels, can expect to encounter that help us grow, build skills, and show/teach others. These experiences offer the foundation for our teams to develop tacit knowledge that is “discovered” rather than “taught.”

  1. Knowledge Management: Pause and teach consultants on project work quality, including application of TC's methodologies and frameworks, developing the next set of project leaders

  2. Client Advisory: Advise clients in one-on-one conversations, using proven methods and experience, with an appreciation for who they are and the environment they are managing

  3. Collaborative Deliverables Creation: Lead the development of impactful client deliverables guided by Solution product standards; enable effective communication to achieve goals

  4. Business Development Foundations: Identify and submit valuable ideas for follow-on work or net-new work and support the Project/Account/Solution leadership on the follow through
