Antenna/RF Test Engineer 

Description

Act as the Lead Antenna/RF Test Engineer. The primary tasking will be operation and maintenance of an Outdoor Antenna Range. This includes:

  • Physically and electrically configuring the Antenna range
  • Measuring Antenna patterns and documenting testing results according to Standard Operating Procedures
  • Apply assembly experience to dissemble and reassemble units under test according to drawings, specifications and procedures
  • Use RF knowledge and experience to troubleshoot and test all types of Radar and RF component and system level issues using standard test equipment including Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, Oscilloscopes
  • Ensure range is operated in a safe manner and within the RF Hazard Specifications
 
Position Requirements
  • Degree: MS or MA degree in Engineering, Logistics, Science, or Relevant Technical Discipline. A BS or BA degree in engineering or technical discipline related field and an additional four (4) years of engineering experience can be substituted for an MS or MA degree.
  • Years of Experience: At least ten (10) years of experience in an engineering position, three (3) of which must be directly related to DOD systems. Demonstrated knowledge in area of engineering expertise.
  • Prefer candidate with knowledge of SPN-35/41/43/46 and OE-120 Antennas.
  • Must be able to climb stairs at a steep incline, work at elevations, and lift components weighing 30lbs.
