Forklift Drivers Needed at Landings Harbor Marina – WILL TRAIN!

The Landings Association has an immediate opening for a Dockhand/Forklift Driver to work at the Landings Harbor Marina. This position will perform dockhand duties while being trained and certified on the marina large-capacity forklift.

Dockhands perform a variety of tasks in support of boaters and residents including fueling, hosting and washing boats and assisting with loading and unloading equipment, pulling and tying lines and a variety of other tasks related to marina operations.

Marina forklift operators are responsible for operation of the marina (large capacity) forklift in moving boats in and out of the racks and water.

Position Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Experience around the water with knowledge of boats and boating techniques including navigation, wind, and knot tying preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Valid driver’s license
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work a rotating schedule including holidays and weekends.
  • Ability to swim
  • Ability to obtain CPR and AED certification
  • Familiarity with various hand tools (drill, grinder, skill saw, etc.)

Starting Pay: $11/hour with a $2 increase once certified on the forklift.
