Description

The Mountain Host will guide our guest to proper compliance of operation requirements. The Mountain Host will promote and communicate to guests before and after entering a facility operation updates and restrictions.

  • Upholds and supports recreation expectations Great Service, Quality programming and Safe Recreation.
  • Staff outside the Mountain Adventure Zone & Park at Water’s Edge– as needed
  • Greet guests, answer questions and provide direction for facility requirements.
  • Promote safety and Covid 19 protocol.
  • Demonstrate and role model proper PPE requirements.
  • Distribute towels and lifejackets. Maintain records as needed.
  • Ensure proper facility capacities are met.
  • Assist with RELEASE forms completion.
  • Maintain cleanliness of assigned work space including bagging towels and cleaning restrooms using proper PPE.
  • Complete daily SOP’s
  • Read and comply with the Crystal Mountain Employee Handbook, Recreation Policy & Procedures Manual and be responsible for keeping up to date with the Communication Log, emails, required training and meetings.
  • Enthusiastically promote all Recreation programs and events.
  • Maintain a positive, creative, friendly, courteous and enthusiastic attitude with guests and fellow employees.
  • Advise a supervisor of hazardous situations.
  • Perform other jobs and duties as assigned.

Physical & Other Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear.
  • The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Evenings, weekends and holidays are a regular part of the schedule.
