Pay Rate $12.00/hr.  
Description

SUMMARY
Performs routine administrative work as directed. Covers front desk/dispatch as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This list represents the types of duties required by the position. Other duties may be assigned as reasonably expected.
• Relieves radio dispatchers as necessary. Must be able to relay important information from supervisors to various employees through radio transmission. Must learn terminology.
• Handles incoming telephone calls and routes them to the appropriate person/department.
• Data entry - maintains and updates records such as material summary spreadsheets and other related records as requested.

NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assumes additional responsibilities as requested.

Position Requirements

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
• High school diploma or equivalent education required.
• Three years of related work experience or any equivalent combination of related education and experience in an office environment.
• Successful candidate must possess strong customer service, problem solving skills with the ability to function independently in a fast-paced, high volume work environment.
• Strong computer skills especially in Microsoft Word, Excel spreadsheets, and database management are a must.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES PREFERRED
• Working knowledge of computers and of modern office practices and procedures.
• Ability to perform basic office procedures, ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing,
• Ability to establish successful working relationships, ability to maintain orderly and accurate files and records.
• Ability to perform required work without direct supervision.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
• Valid Driver’s license required.

EQUIPMENT
Desktop and laptop computer; landline and cellular; facsimile machine; copier; scanner, radio.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and walk, and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required in this job include vision and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in office settings, with moderate inside temperatures. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate in the office. Entire office is smoke free.
