Our client is hiring a Junior Electrical Engineer to join their team in Boston. In this position you will:

  • Support LCAC electrical distribution system technical development and life cycle sustainment through:   
    • Basic engineering work in analysis, design, development, evaluation, planning, testing and operation in the development of system and technical products
    • Collection of information and data, performance of various tests, and engineering computations, measurements and analyses; independently perform basic data validation and troubleshooting.
    • Input to project managers on programmatic and technical deliverables under guidance of more senior technical personnel. 
    • Recommending improvements to existing quality systems and applicable company procedures and guidelines.
 
Position Requirements

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 1 to 6 years of relevant work experience 
  • Proficiency of Microsoft Office suite programs (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Understanding of Ship Construction or Marine Engineering Experience 
  • An Active, Current or Interim Secret Clearance is required

 

Desired Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Understanding of maritime electrical power distribution systems
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD 
  • Previous work on LCAC or SSC platforms a real plus
