Clinical Program Supervisor I or II-REACH Mobile Support

The Richmond Behavioral Health Authority is seeking a Clinical Program Supervisor I or II to perform difficult professional work providing direct clinical and administrative supervision to REACH Mobile Support team and closely collaborates with Prevention Services,  Crisis Services (Crisis and CTH) and Outpatient Therapy services at REACH. Performs difficult professional work providing direct clinical service to clients involving intake, assessing client needs, developing treatment plans, providing mobile support services, managing cases, maintaining records and files, preparing reports, and related work as apparent or assigned. Ensures scheduling and documentation standards are met in accordance with program expectations and all regulatory bodies. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the assigned REACH Clinical Manager.

Essential Functions

Performs intakes, client assessments and diagnostic interviews; conducts mental health and substance use disorder assessments and monitors level of functioning.

Monitors and manages an assigned client load.

Assists client in identifying self-determined goals and jointly prepare individualized treatment plan.

Ensure all treatment and interventions are evidence-based and tie back to the individual’s treatment plan.

Uses collaborative documentation strategies to promote shared planning and person centered services.

Interfaces with other REACH staff, service providers and client support systems including medical, behavioral health, direct care providers, etc. to ensure continuity of care.

Provides consultation, education and mobile support services.

Documents and charts information about client assessment, diagnostic studies, individual service plans, progress notes, discharge summaries and other client related data, correspondence, medical records, etc..

Prepares and submits reports as required.

Monitors and audits clinical and medical records and practices for compliance with regulatory, reimbursement and agency standards; reviews documentation for accuracy; assists with reviewing division policies and procedures.

Represents clients and Authority in court and legal proceedings as required.

Serves on a variety of committees as directed; attends and participates in a variety of meetings.

Maintains all required licenses and training certifications for the position.

Conducts trainings for the REACH team, provider systems, or others, upon request and approval.

Supervises student interns as directed.

Ensures fidelity to Skills System model as well as to service requirements.

Provides staff training and ensure staff are supported in professional development as it pertains to their role within REACH / RBHA.

Manages and submits payroll timely and in accordance with RBHA policy and procedures.

Addresses performance concerns effectively and in accordance with RBHA employee handbook.

Demonstrates knowledge of agency policy and procedures and adheres to them in all areas of work.

Demonstrates appropriate professional boundaries and conduct at all times.

Ensures all training requirements are met for all staff on team.

Attends professional conferences and trainings as required.
Participates in an Administrative On-Call rotation to include nights, evenings, holiday and weekends as required.

Performs other duties as assigned.

 
Position Requirements

Education and Experience

Master’s degree with coursework in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field and considerable experience working with clients with behavioral health disorders and/or developmental disabilities in a behavioral setting.

1 year experience as a supervisor required.

Special Requirements

Licensed Mental Health Professional, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist OR LMHP-E Required.

Valid driver’s license in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Starting Salary Range Supervisor I 54,001.98 Licensed Supervisor II $59,537.18 plus differential
