The Ascentis Sales team is made up of dedicated sales professionals who come to Ascentis because they want something different than the big box experience. As an Enterprise Account Executive you are responsible for driving net-new customer acquisition in an assigned geographic territory. Centered around our cultural norms, you will work in a fast-paced, innovative team environment where you are empowered to sell Ascentis Workforce Management solutions to achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales quota and business targets. Our Account Executives have a huge impact on the growth of our organization and their contribution creates a ripple effect that propels Ascentis forward in the marketplace.

What is a day in the life?

  • Lead a strategic, consultative, enterprise level sales process focused on providing better business outcomes for our target customers.
  • Prospect (“hunter”), qualify and close business within a defined enterprise territory. Develop detailed territory plans to include specific account strategies to effectively penetrate accounts which align the value of Ascentis to their needs.
  • Deliver corporate presentations and demonstrations both online and in-person to senior level business owners and executives.
  • Utilize CRM (Salesforce) to track all pertinent information related to the opportunities and accounts to effectively manage your territory.
  • Collaborate with the broader account teams (Business Development, Pre-Sales, Professional Services, Account Management) in a cross-functional teaming sales environment
Position Requirements

What are we looking for in a candidate?

  • 5+ years of successful field sales experience selling B2B software/cloud/Software as a Service (SaaS). Experience selling Workforce Management (WFM) or Human Capital Management (HCM) software solution strongly preferred.
    • You have met your monthly, quarterly and annual quota objectives at least 3 out of the last 4 years selling into companies of more than 1,500 employees.
  • Proven success in penetrating new markets and closing new business.
  • Ability to build rapport, establish trust and earn credibility through a consultative approach and balanced assertive sales follow-up.
  • Strong self-starter with the desire and flexibility to operate in a fast-paced quickly changing environment; a fast learner and open to creative business ideas; a natural-born leader and pioneer willing to explore new markets and ideas
  • You’re a great teammate and have a positive and professional outlook. We win as a team and lose as a team. You share ideas and help push the organization forward.
  • Experience with Challenger, Gap Selling, MEDDICC, or similar methodology desired.
