What You Would Be Doing
Primary job responsibilities include supervising and managing clinical staff providing behavioral health services through the outpatient clinic at Boundless Behavioral Health. Working with parents/guardians, clinical staff, and community-based resources, the Director Outpatient and Community Services facilitates access to care and addresses barriers. This position reports to the Regional Director and works closely with all other departments. This is a full-time, salaried position.

  • Completes psychosocial assessments for new clients as needed.
  • Determines and implements appropriate therapeutic strategies to effect changes in behavioral-social interactions of clients and their families.
  • Provides individual and group therapeutic counseling to clients and their families as needed.
  • Provides parent/guardian educational workshops on identified issues related to child development, stress reduction, discipline and safety, and teacher/parent/client communication.
  • Initiates collaboration and consultation on behavioral-emotional-environmental issues affecting client to improve client engagement in services and appropriate treatment.
  • Conducts staff development on issues related to social-emotional-environmental factors that impact treatment with a strong focus on evidence-based intervention.
  • Provides training and clinical supervision to clinicians seeking independent licensure in either a group or individual setting.
  • Provides work supervision for all assigned clinicians in individual and group settings.
  • Manages daily functioning of the outpatient clinic including staff, room schedules, and assigning referrals.
  • Works closely with Intake department, psychiatry team, care coordination, and psychology team to promote coordination of care and integration of clinical services.
  • Maintains all required clinical records and submits appropriate documents for statistical reports with adherence to program standards in behavioral health.
  • Attends meetings and professional development activities as required.
  • Monitors budget and productivity for staff.
  • Supports the growth and development of clinical services and integration of services across the agency.
  • Maintains effective communication and a positive employee relation climate that encourages the sharing of information and the provision of feedback.
  • Manages the recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and retention of outpatient clinicians.
  • Oversees residential respite contract.
  • All other assigned duties.
 
Position Requirements

Education Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or equivalent.
  • Independent Licensure with Supervisor Designation (LISW-S or LPCC-S) with the State of Ohio.
