Mission
Responsible for directing all IGH facility security functions at a major DOD test facility to include: managing all areas of the classified security program, ensuring compliance with government and company security policies and procedures; managing personnel security clearances, visitor control practices, and required physical and industrial security implementation, inspections and corrections; developing, implementing and managing document control procedures for classified information; reviewing and investigating security related occurrences; coordinating security education and training with the workforce; and conducting periodic reviews of the security program to ensure effectiveness.
Major responsibilities include (not all inclusive):
Develop and administer security education training; conduct foreign travel briefings and debriefings; prepare and track DD254s; and maintain security documentation as required
In-process new employees to include execution of SF 312 Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA) and other customer vetting processes as required by customer contracts
Manage personnel clearances and process visit access requests in the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) and the Army Centralized Contracts and Security Portal (ACCS)
Manage annual employee security training
Provide employees with personnel security guidance consistent with the 13 adjudicative guidelines to assist them in managing their clearances
Apply physical security concepts to improve security posture
Maintain an effective document inventory and control program for the management, shipping and receiving of classified material
Oversee the investigation and reporting of security incidents
Regular interface with program management to address security issues and ensure that we are seen as a business enabler
Support business development, review and provide input to RFP's and author security volumes as required
Collaborate with customer security personnel for security metrics that could impact operations as well as escalating possible issues to leadership
Develop and implement the Security, Awareness, Training and Education program.
Prepare, obtain approval and execute (Security Operating Procedures (SOP's), System Security Plans (SSP's).
Qualified Candidates must have:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Office products
Current DSS/DCSA FSO Certification
Bachelor's degree or five years of FSO security experience in security administration; or equivalent years of experience directly with the government or government contracts.
In depth experience with government security databases such as JPAS and e-QIP Minimum of five years’ experience with personnel security, investigations, physical security, document control, information systems security, preparing and processing DD 254's
Experienced in developing and administering security procedures and programs for classified or proprietary materials and documents.
Experience in coordinating and processing security clearances.
Experience conducting security education classes.
This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and must currently possess an active Top-Secret security clearance.
