What are we looking for in a Program Assistant?

The Program Assistant serves as the primary customer service representative for the Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) and work frequently with clients, staff, other service providers in the community, and the general public. As the main point of contact for reception, appointment scheduling, and other administrative assistance, the Program Assistant will need to possess excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask with frequent disruptions.

PACT is a service delivery model with the primary goal of recovery through community treatment. Its target population is those with challenging and persistent mental health issues. The PACT model is characterized by a team approach, shared caseload, time unlimited services, flexible service delivery and 24/7 crisis availability. Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

 

Program Assistant duties may include:

  • providing clinic reception and administrative assistance to the PACT team
  • assisting with the completion of financial assessments, client budget sheets, and client payee duties
  • scheduling appointments and coordinating provider and client schedules
  • maintaining accurate client records, case notes, and other documentation in coordination with the treatment team
  • serving as liaison between the PACT program and community partners to share information and coordinate client needs
  • maintaining client confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines
 
Position Requirements

Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED and two years of general office experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Professional Credentials: Eligible for Washington State Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration

Other Requirements: Driver's License, Vehicle Liability Insurance
