The ideal candidate will have an associates or bachelor’s degree in construction management, construction technology, engineering, or related field and the following skills/characteristics: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret reports, drawings, specifications and industry standards. Ability to respond professionally to common inquiries or complaints from customers, subcontractors, suppliers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to work with computer software packages such as Microsoft Office, CAD database applications, construction industry software and other basic software. TIMBERLINE EXPERIENCE A PLUS! Must be able to quickly and appropriately respond to various construction related questions. Ability to effectively run multiple projects in an efficient manner. 2 years’ experience as a project manager/engineer required. Roofing experience is a plus.   Responsibilities: Responsible for drawings and submittals and to ensure they are completed, submitted, and turned back to the field as quickly as possible. Make the major material buyouts and negotiating and scheduling material deliveries for the project. Monitor job costs on a project-by-project basis for assigned projects. Coordinate status of purchased materials with Warehouse, Field Superintendent and Job Foreman to maintain timely delivery on established dates. Attend weekly production meetings with Field Superintendent, and other designated management personnel. Attend pre-construction meetings and add input to mobilizing and set up of project for start. Prepare all sheet metal drawings and quantities needed to Sheet Metal Fabricator in a timely manner that allows for a coordinated, on-time delivery of sheet metal to the job. Prepare and issue change orders to customers, suppliers and/or contractors. Assist in obtaining bond requirements when necessary. Work with accounting department for invoicing to clients. Ensure that all proposals and contracts are processed, and that any information required, initiating or complete client billing, is given to accounting personnel in a timely manner. Before site work begins, meet with the Job Foreman, Estimator and Superintendent to properly review the scope and timing of work on the project. Review and approve vendor and subcontractor invoices from job cost reports. Monitor all expenses against the established budgets and notify accounting of any necessary recoding of expenses. Attend punch list walk-through as required and assist Field Superintendent in coordinating completion of punch list items. Prepare all “closeout” documents for customer, including warranties, SDS sheets, etc. Coordinate and manage small repairs and callbacks for clients as requested. This is a full-time salary position.
