Frattalone Companies, Inc is currently accepting applications for an Earthwork Superintendent for the 2021 construction season.
Scope of responsibilities include directing and coordinating activities of workers, subcontractors and vendors to ensure construction projects are completed according to project specifications, schedule and budget.
Performance Responsibilities include:
1. Develop daily work schedules, personnel needs, materials, tools and equipment necessary to put work in place ahead of schedule and under budget.
2. Plan and coordinate various phases of construction to prevent delays.
3. Inspect work in progress to insure that workmanship conforms to specification. Enforce general safety program on job to include daily inspections, use of proper personal protection equipment, weekly safety meeting, and jobsite safety analysis.
4. Confer with subcontractors and other supervisory personnel in planning and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays.
5. Consult with General Superintendent to advise of current project status (work in place, budget, schedule, etc.) and to also exchange ideas and formulate solutions to help increase productivity and profitability.
6. Train new workers in use of equipment and tools.
7. Enter daily cost and production in HCSS to ensure project is on budget.
8. Carry all the hand tools needed to perform daily tasks and minor equipment maintenance.
9. A working knowledge and understanding of blueprint reading, field engineering principles, and techniques to help insure quality control in field.
10. Represents Frattalone Companies in a professional manner.
11. Perform all other duties and responsibilities requested by General Superintendent.
