Your role at MOBE

As a Instructional Designer - Learning and Development (L&D), you will lead the design and development of MOBE’s Guided Self-Management (GSM) program as well as enterprise learning initiatives. You will be responsible to evaluate our curricula and develop training plans. Part of this role will include development and support of field trainers in an effort to scale our programs. You will serve as a subject matter expert of adult learning best practices and methodologies. You will also serve as a coach and mentor to your L&D colleagues.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a training strategy and implement the new GSM program in partnership with the business subject matter experts
  • Review and evaluate training program and field trainer performance
  • Conduct needs assessment as necessary to determine development needs and/or performance gaps
  • Plans, organizes and facilitates development events in collaboration with the L&D team
  • Partners and works effectively with cross-functional and Self-Management program teams
  • Consults with and advises business partners for continuous learning needs
  • Designs and develops programs for onboarding, leadership development and other professional development needs in the organization
  • Other duties as assigned to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by MOBE’s Guiding Principles

Position Requirements

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
  • A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in L&D, including experience developing a remote workforce
  • Strong understanding of learning methodology
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and consultation skills
  • Experience developing eLearning (using Articulate, Captivate, etc.)
  • Experience designing virtual and blended learning solutions
  • Self-motivated, innovation-driven

Preferred:

  • Experience with behavior/organizational change methodologies/principles
  • Experience in direct patient care either via telephone or in person
  • Healthcare experience
  • Desire to be a part of an organization looking to transform health culture
