Description

Eagle Harbor Solutions (EHS), a Koniag Government Services company, is looking for a highly qualified, experienced and self-motivated individual to perform the duties of an IT Business Process Engineer III to support EHS and our government customer in the DC Metro area.

The IT Business Process Engineer applies process engineering and improvement methodologies and principles to conducting process modernization programs. Responsible for effective transitioning of existing program and program teams, and for facilitating program teams' accomplishment of program activities and objectives. Provides group facilitation, interviewing, training, and additional forms of knowledge transfer. Key coordinator among multiple program teams to ensure enterprise wide integration of engineering efforts

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain methodologies and processes pertaining to the management of IA programs, projects, and initiatives as well as the management of strategies as it matures over time.
  • Manage a knowledge management repository to centralize the communications, business processes, templates, SOPs; Operating Manuals and other materials required to support the IA business activities.
  • Create and maintain standard IA Business Processes, Standard Operating Procedures for all IA Subject Areas
  • Provide a consistent way of assessing, selecting, prioritizing, budgeting, and contributing to the organization’s strategic interest.
  • Assess, recommend, implement, and manage any required management tools to minimize the amount of manual process and improve productivity.
  • Establish a mechanism for filling resource gaps provides a core set of professional Project Managers and project support staff (Cyber Analysts, SA&A staff, Org. Change Management, Project Controls, etc.) that are deployed to various projects through the PMO’s resource management function.
  • Support the enhancement and execution of an IA Governance Structure.
  • Support activities centered around policy, procedures, and awareness, which may include strategic planning and alignment, policy enhancement and enforcement, security best practices, standard operating procedures, and enterprise education and awareness.
 
Position Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience with Cyber Security Programs, and NIST Risk Management Framework required
  • 8 years of program related experience. Substitution Advanced degree equivalent to two (2) years of experience.
  • At least one (1) certification with focus on Program Management including PMP, PgMP, or CISM. Other certifications or advanced degree/experience may be allowable in substitution
  • Experience and competency with:
    • CSAM (or similar tool i.e. TAF, Archer, Xacta, etc.)
    • Privacy Programs (PII)
    • Incident Management solutions
    • eDiscovery/Forensic Management solutions
    • Governance & Risk Management & Compliance Support
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize duties based on shifting demands
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desirable:

  • College degree in Information Security or relevant field

Working Environment & Conditions

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The work load may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time.  The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.  The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
