Your role at MOBE

As a Project Manager at MOBE, you will partner with internal and external business and technology teams to drive execution of strategically important projects that focus on cross-functional process improvement, system enhancement and/or new client or product implementation. You will develop expertise in the broad business architecture at MOBE and a deep understanding of enterprise workflows, system strategies and data integrations. You will use this knowledge along with your business analysis, process development and project management skills to drive the completion of detailed activities required to enable successful project implementations.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain strong knowledge of the functional capabilities across the enterprise and work closely with business segments and technology teams to translate strategic goals into delivery-focused change initiatives.
  • Conduct analysis, lead discussion, provide direction and facilitate decisions to solve business problems/opportunities that may include process improvement, systems enhancement, reporting or data integration, vendor management and/or software procurement.
  • Provide structure in terms of documenting scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, decisions on key organizational initiatives/projects.
  • Drive completion of projects and initiatives following through on execution of chosen strategies and demonstrate an ability to stay the course despite obstacles.
  • Measure project performance, impact and risk and take action to address, monitor and escalate as needed.

Position Requirements

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • A minimum of 10 years progressive experience managing and leading cross-functional projects or initiatives
  • A minimum of 10 years business analysis or process analysis experience in the health care field (preferably Payer or Provider)
  • A minimum of 5 years supervisory or related experience, leading and mentoring team members, project stakeholders, and project steering committees on project priorities, issues and risks
  • Demonstrates strong leadership judgment and business acumen
  • Excellent project management skills, with proven experience managing multiple priorities with tight deadlines, and demonstrated strong problem-solving skills as well as attention to detail
  • Process design and implementation or related experience; experience developing complex, multi-function enterprise processes
  • Excellent analytical skills with ability to read and understand complex data and make thoughtful, articulate recommendations; ability to translate analysis of data into meaningful outputs
  • Experience working as liaison between business and technical teams, developing business requirements with knowledge of software development lifecycle management
  • Proven ability to influence course of action when others are directly accountable for outcomes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project (or equivalent)

Preferred:

  • Advanced degree a plus
  • PMP certification, or intent to obtain
  • Management consulting or internal consulting experience
