Perform daily cleaning procedures in accordance with EVS policies and training videos in assigned areas. Record work completed on Area Assignment Checklist. Police assigned area at the beginning of each shift, respond to Environmental Services pages and perform other tasks as assigned.   Position Requirements EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent education preferred. EXPERIENCE: Previous related experience, training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. SKILLS: Must have communication skills in English. Demonstrate proper daily patient room cleaning. Demonstrate proper cleaning of discharge rooms. Demonstrate proper use of equipment. Demonstrates proper use of chemicals and can locate material safety data sheets. Demonstrates communication and interpersonal skills. Identifies correct procedures relating to life safety. Promotes patient safety. Demonstrates standard precaution procedures. Demonstrates knowledge of age specific patient care.
