Description

Job Overview: The USAF Expeditionary Center (EC) provides education and training for Air Advisors and other airmen who engage with partner nation counterparts in support of Combatant Commands (CCMDs), their respective Air Components, Headquarters Air Force (HAF), Major Commands (MAJCOMs), and other validated tasking. An Air Advisor is an airman specifically educated and trained to apply aviation expertise to assess, train/educate, advise, and assist foreign personnel in the development and application of their aviation resources to meet their national needs in support of US interests.

 

 

 
Position Requirements

In order to perform the role of Operations Manager successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of theknowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Qualifications: An associate’s degree from an accredited school or college; possess at least three years of prior management and supervisory experience as a military company-grade officer (O-1 to O-3) or a non-commissioned officer (E-4 to E-7); gained work experience in managing education, training, and instructor/student support services. This shall include experience in scheduling, analyzing, and reporting training data, conducting training needs assessments, and providing senior leadership with a diversity of statistical reports regarding courses and educational support.

Duties: Working in coordination with the Flight Chief, Air Advisor Course Director, and COR to schedule and deconflict courses, lessons, classrooms, and instructors; schedule and deconflict training facilities and ranges as required for practical exercises; produce, assemble, and manage student materials/student welcome packages as required to include paper and/or electronic (DVDs, etc.) based training materials provided by the Government as directed by the Air Advisor Course Director; Assist the instructors in preparing classrooms for instruction and ensuring academic equipment, projectors, televisions, computer learning stations, etc., including uploading of computer based training, if applicable, are functional; work together with the Air Advisor Course Director,  USAF EOS, EC Registrar and AETC to evaluate student throughput capability and AOR educational requirements.

Additional Requirements: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); ability to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance.
