Our Team:
The Packaging Section Lead is responsible for the efficient operation of the assigned packaging section and personnel. Ensures that assignments are completed according to schedule to meet daily output goals, and ascertains that section is running at maximum speed.
What you will be doing:
- Coordinate with multiple groups including Quality Assurance & Maintenance departments.
- Ensure efficient and timely execution of Packaging Schedule.
- Monitor and update all packaging instructions, ensuring all instructions are being followed.
- Assist the planning group in daily operations.
- Assist management in planning and production related activities.
- Analyze packaging issues, identify root causes and derive solutions.
- Develop logistic strategy to avoid downtime and delays.
- Develop process improvements to improve workflow efficiency.
What you bring to the team:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 5-7 years of experience in a production/packaging environment.
- Prior leadership and training experience.
- Prior knowledge of packaging concepts and packaging equipment.
- Intermediate proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office, Excel and mathematics.
- Highly organized with an ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Preferred Experience and Education:
- Knowledge of SAP or other MRP software.
