Part-Time Financial and Budget Analyst 

Description

The Financial/Budget Analyst will support budget meetings by coordinating presentation development and updates; updating budget SME and budget POC lists; coordinating meeting scheduling with program SMEs, budget POCs, CORs, PMs, and Director; and arranging calendar invites for the budget meetings.

Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To:

  • Perform budget monitoring by coordinating with directors to gather routine planning and expenditures data.
  • Maintain an automated budget-tracking tool and maintain a SharePoint database to allow real-time reporting of budget information.
  • Monitor and coordinate updates to the preparation of monthly financial reports and budget execution schedule.
  • Coordinate the preparation of customer reports such as:
    • Budget Reports
    • Financial Database Reports
    • SharePoint Database Maintenance Reports
    • Budget Formulation Reports (both annual and multi-year reports)
    • Budget/Contract Review Reports
  • Assist with proposal development, if necessary.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.
 
Position Requirements

Experience:

  • Ten (10) plus years’ experience working on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a program and performing all functional duties independently.
  • Previous experience at the Veteran’s Affairs is strongly desired.

Education:

  • MA/MS degree.

Other Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must be proficient in SharePoint.

Security Clearance: Must be able to pass a Background Investigation.

US Citizenship: This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Sawdey Solution Services to staff it only with U.S. Citizens.
