About the Position

Interactive Government Holdings (IGH) is seeking qualified, trained and capable individuals to serve as Operations Managers reporting to the Senior Program Manager in support of a critical US Government customer in Albuquerque, NM.

The On-Site Operations Managers deal with a broad base of stakeholders, including customers, vendors, engineers, the entire technical team, other contract service providers. They are responsible for managing and coordinating one or more of the following domains: Network and Telecom Engineering, Services Operations Center (SOC), Service Desk, End Use Services, HPC, Infrastructure Computing Service, Application Development and Maintenance.

 
Position Requirements

Mission

The ideal candidate must possess experience supporting and facilitating large government programs in excess of $50 Million in annual revenues.

Major responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Assures that the domain area they are accountable for runs effectively without interruption, and to assure that performance meets and exceeds SLAs.
  • Participates in the change control review board.
  • Manages the technical business processes (e.g. ITIL) of the organization.
  • Manages a team of technical resources that are staffed 24x7x365
  • Overseas the development and deployment of innovative solutions in response to various networking and infrastructure support problems.
  • Ensures that customer needs are properly defined and satisfactorily met.
  • Stays abreast of new technologies emerging in the industry.
  • Actively engages with customer leadership and key stakeholders
  • Prepares monthly reports and ensure all administrative billing and invoicing processes are properly administers
  • Committed to staff and team development and promoting a superior work environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain a DoE Q security clearance.
  • Eight (8) years of experience in a computer-related field.
  • Five (5) years prior experience with managing a technical team and program management.
  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (a degree in one of the following arear is preferred: Business Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline).
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and must be able to provide superior customer service through their own actions and must be able to manage subordinates to provide superior customer service.
  • Working knowledge of the IT service management practices, SAFE, and DevOps
  • U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoE Q security clearance.
  • Strong management and relationship building skills
  • Strong written and communications skills in the English language

Desired Qualifications:

  • DOE Sandia Labs experience
  • PMP certification
  • DOE Q Clearance
