Description

General Summary:

Develops, plans and executes material requirements for programs/manufacture of products by performing the following duties.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify the material requirements based on product forecasts and program requirements to support the master schedules of the all.
  • Plans and schedules materials based on established requirements
  • Maintains a complete and accurate production control report for material and manufacturing status on all responsible programs. 
  • Confers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects to include in status.
  • Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
  • Prepares lists of required materials, tools, and equipment with manufacturing that are not identified or quantified on documentation.
  • Prepares purchase requisitions to obtain supplies, tools, and equipment for production requirements.
  • Performs data entry into the Growthpower system to document material status.
  • Inputs parts purchase requisitions.
  • Tracks status of parts purchase requisitions.
  • Opens work orders and tracks their material status.
  • Assures that all parts/material requirements are satisfied.
  • Any and all additional requirements to support the warehouse/materials mission, as assigned by supervisor

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to five months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
