HH-60G Operation and Maintenance Support Technician 

Description
  • Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks on the simulators and associated simulator systems.
  • Assist in diagnosing and correcting problems on the simulators and associated simulator systems.
  • Diagnose and correct complex problems on the simulators and associated simulator systems.
  • Utilize Maintenance Management System to record and track maintenance activities.
  • Train technicians in basic skills and provide technical training for other technicians.
  • Complete all designated training activities.
  • Actively pursue continued professional growth and training.
  • Perform preflight and post flight on all simulators.
  • Perform visual alignments.
  • Run and Evaluate QTG results.
  • Assist Engineering Team with modifications, design changes, and software enhancements, as well as support trade studies, analysis, and technology insertion events.
  • Perform refurbishment and hardware modifications.
  • Perform software changes to correct problems on the simulators and associated simulator systems.
  • Identify and coordinate efforts to correct training deficiencies.
  • May assist Group Lead in day-to-day operation of maintenance activities.
  • Learn and comply with JFTI’s Quality Management System.
  • Provide customer service support and address customer needs in a timely manner.
  • Perform logistics duties, including parts received, repair, and testing/validation, and manage a support package to include the replenishment of spares required to sustain the trainer.
  • Perform housekeeping functions to maintain the simulators and management of program equipment, to include the facilities and shelters.
  • Perform administrative tasks as required.
  • Perform tasks to support the technical services group as required.
  • Flexibility to work the required shifts.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with all types of test equipment and standard tools for maintenance of the device.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with software diagnostics and utilities on at least 1 type of simulator.
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting skills.
  • Run and evaluate required tests.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform in-depth analysis and research for hardware modifications and upgrades.
  • Demonstrated ability to assist the Engineering Team with modifications, design changes, and software enhancements.
  • Demonstrated ability to assist with the development and delivery of technical training for other technicians.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of MS-Office tools and suite.
 
Position Requirements
  • 2-year technical degree or equivalent related training.
  • 3 years of simulator/COMS experience requested.
  • Lift at least 50 pounds
  • Climb stairs/ladders continuously
  • Bend and stand for long periods of time
  • Move/work within confined spaces
