Share Email Opening Title Material Coordinator   Category Other   Description The Material Coordinator is responsible for receiving, issuing, inventorying and verifying parts and material in preparation for storage and providing control of these assets. Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To: Accepts and processes aircraft assets into and out of storage and directed by Government Maintenance Representative. Once accepted, catalogues and inventories store assets IAW SOPs. Will collaborate with the Government Maintenance Representative to manage efficient flow of materials to and from storage for installation/de-installation on aircraft assigned. Track all assets received, released, routed and inventoried using appropriate forms. Verify each asset is properly identified, tagged, protected, free of residual fluids and has been inspected for serviceability and is suitable for storage IAW Air Force regulations. Coordinate with Aircraft Production Controller/Scheduler for the movement and recording of assets to/from storage to the appropriate location as required. Seal and secure storage containers and record seal numbers on inventory sheets as required. Maintain positive control of assets in storage and perform inventory of store equipment IAW SOPs. Assist in the placement of assets on pallets or in containers in a manner that prevents damage to equipment and eliminates potential for injury to personnel. Keep track of asset routing to include requester, location to be routed, pickup and delivery time and storage location. Verify with Government Maintenance Representative that all assets have been removed and processed for storage or properly routed as required. Provide required activity, inventory, discrepancy and other requested data to the site/shift lead. Ensures activities are performed safely and according to guidelines and policies established by the Government. Ensures adherence to established standards of individual performance and site discipline. Provides friendly customer service. Maintains accountability of all assigned company and Government Owned Property. Assist with proposal development, if necessary.
