Cyber Threat Analyst SME 

Description

The Subject Matter Expert (SME) will provide project management and dedicated subject matter expertise to assure continuity and technical competency of the TARC.

Additional responsibilties include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee the completion of tasks, administration, and will be the Government’s onsite point of contact for this effort.
  • Review and submit all deliverables associated with this contract, ensuring a seamless transition for project initiation and closure, and meeting minutes.
  • As the SME, this role encompasses preparation, development, and completion of information assurance and threat assessment documentation and provides high-level functional subject matter expertise and advanced technical knowledge applicable to the challenges facing AMC.
  • Coordinate, document, monitor, and support meetings and conferences.
  • Perform Program/Project management, risk management, and strategic planning.
  • Prepare presentations and briefing materials of systems and high-level meetings.
  • Supports all task areas as/when required.
  • Performed other duties, as assigned.
  • Assist with proposal development, if necesary.
 
Position Requirements

Experience:

  • Minimum of twelve (12) years' functional experience and/or prior service in the cyber/communication career field.
  • Must have experience preparing, developing, and completing IA and Cyber Security threat assessment documents.
  • Must have previous supervisory and contract management experience.
  • Familiarity with AMC (or similar) instructions, documents, operational orders.
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) experience in facilitating and assisting with program reviews.
  • Must have previous experience supporting project or task management reviews.
  • Must have previous experience working with Cyber security mitigation strategies and analysis.
  • Must have previusly supported cyber forums and TIMs, and change control boards.
  • Must have previus experience preparing and delivering presentations to senior leadership.
  • Experience working with Cryptography desired.

Education:

  • Master’s Degree (desired) in a related discipline.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • IAM/IAT Level III (CISSP) certified.

Other Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must be familiar with common programming languages.
  • Knowledgeable of Networking fundamentals.
  • Must be familiar with Air Force (or similar) operating systems, software, hardware, data communications, and experienced in SharePoint administration and content management.
  • Project management competency and experience with PM toolsets and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of USTRANSCOM and Air Force organizational alignment and cyber structure.
  • Knowledge of AMC (or similar service)-specific C2, Business, and In-Transit Visibility (ITV) systems and operations.
  • Must be familiar with Communications Theory.

Security Clearance:

  • Top Secret SCI (TS SCI) security clearance required.

US Citizenship:

  • This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Sawdey Solution Services to staff it only with U.S. Citizens.
