Business Operations Specialist Junior (Business Process Analyst) 


Supports efforts to structure a framework that promotes the implementation and measurement of improvements in processes in order to provide the most effective, strategic course of action options for leadership consideration. Assists in tailoring proven methodologies for BI, analytics, Process Improvement (PI), BPM, change management (CM), modeling and data visualization specific for the 618 AOC. Coordinates the use of analytical and statistical tools from complimentary process improvement philosophies, such of Six-Sigma and Business Process Management and improvement. Closely coordinates with AOC stakeholders concerning BPM efforts.

Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To:

  • Assist with proposal development, if necessary.
Position Requirements

Three (3) years’ experience in disciplines such as Knowledge Management, Project Management, Six-Sigma and/or Change Management. Understanding of organizational, design and resource requirements. Understands process performance measuring and controls.

Used Lean-Six-Sigma or methodologies such as Business Process Management (BPM), and Change Management to improve organizational efficiencies. Knowledgeable on process mapping/modeling tools/methodologies. Experience with Information Technology development/change as well as adapting functional business requirements and processes to technical solutions. Participated in developing and delivering products relative to statistical methodologies and process improvement systems such as spreadsheets and metrics.


  • Associates degree or equivalent experience

Other Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

Security Clearance:

  • Secret

US Citizenship: This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Sawdey Solution Services to staff it only with U.S. Citizens.
