Summer can't get here fast enough! Encounter animals. Concoct experiments. Build robots. No matter what you love, every day of summer will be packed full of adventure, excitement, and opportunities to explore science and know wonder. Our camps embrace hands-on learning, where campers explore science and embrace it as a way of knowing.
The Museum of Life and Science (MLS) offers one-week, full-day, hands-on science camps for children age 4 through grade 8 that run June 8- August 21, 2020 at its campus on Murray Avenue in Durham. The MLS also offers one-week, full-day camps for children age 4 through grade 5 at the Montessori Community School, located in the Chapel Hill area.
Ability to work outside in heat and humidity; some camps occur in an outdoor classroom and many camps spend time outdoors.

Important Note… Summer Camp Educators do not have to work the entire summer schedule and will be asked to detail their summer availability during the interview process. Preference will be given to those able to work more weeks. First time Educators at the Museum site are expected to be available the week of July 1-July 5 (Camp is held on July 4th).
