Job Description
We are currently seeking a high energy, self-motivated Operations Manager with a focus on Transportation and Lease Equipment management. The Operations Supervisor is responsible for the entire operations team.
Responsibilities
Schedule and assign work load for full time employees
Assist with routings and scheduling for all drivers and maintain fuel logs
Schedule equipment repair and maintenance
Answer customers phone calls and resolve issues where needed
Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices
Researching, troubleshooting, and attempting to determine resolution for “picking problems” – missing or misplaced inventory.
Determining short-term needs including accurate amounts of warehouse supplies, material-handling equipment, personnel and space requirements.
Picking orders for “will call” customers & receiving “LTL” shipments
Conduct performance evaluations which may include salary recommendations or promotions
Communicate job expectations and coach employees
