We create original concepts and help real estate developers, hoteliers and commercial property owners enhance the value of their food and beverage real estate. Privately owned, it is led by industry veterans Desmond Reilly, Kristopher Carr, and Stu Damon. Founded in 1998 and repurposed in 2013, SRG’s core business is the development and operations of three restaurant concepts, The Walrus Oyster & Ale House, CHICKEN + WHISKEY, and doi moi all located in the greater Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Description

Information

  1. Responsible for Aloha and Toast Point of Sale Information at each of our restaurants. Responsible for: Employee entry maintenance, menu item entry, modifier entry and “flow”, and menu item routing.
  2. CTUIT. Responsible to partner with Culinary Director, Concept Chefs, General Manager, and Chef de cuisine(s), and Bar Manager, to maintain proper Cost of Goods costing thru proper.
    • Recipe entry and organization
    • Recipe and menu item routing
    • Recipe pricing maintenance
    • Recipe Costing
    • Recipe inventory entry and maintenance
    • Building BEO recipes, menu items, pricing and linking
    • Continuously Build theoretical platform
    • Inventory item entry
    • Storage location entry and maintenance
    • Inventory taking sheet maintenance
    • Inventory price monitoring, (fixing AP entry mistakes causing inaccurate recipes and inventory counts)
    • EOP inventory reconciliation, checking for pricing discrepancies fixing recipe to menu linking, missing VPI’s, receive units and investigating variance amounts
    • Daily/Weekly AP invoice reconciliation,
    • Food cost/order guides
    • Daily food cost entry and maintenance
    • Weekly price bidding with vendors
    • Entering weekly pricing with the best bids and distribution

 

Technology

  1. Responsible to install, maintain, and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, computers, printers, and scanners. Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary.
  2. Support and maintain CTUIT inventory management software. Remotely troubleshoot inventory software application errors and provide resolution.
  3. Understanding of POS software, specifically Aloha and Toast.
  4. Responds promptly to service issues and requests Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone) Setting up accounts for new users
  5. Maintain hardware & software inventory and IT-related equipment such as printers and copiers.
  6. Support emerging and evolving technologies (desktops, laptops, smartphones, tablets, and other handheld devices.
  7. Work with vendor support for warranty repairs and issue resolution.

    • Entering weekly pricing with the best bids and distribution

 

 
Position Requirements

This exciting new position is perfect for the individual who loves computers!. Ideal candidate will also have worked in the restaurant industry as a server, bartender or supervisor. Initially, person will be responsible for programming our restaurant’s Point of Sale Systems, administer Cost of Goods data in best in class restaurant software CTUIT. Eventually the candidate will also be responsible for maintaining the SRG business hardware, data, and business intelligence system.

Position: Non-management, 40 hours a week

Hourly Rate: $16.00-$20.00 based on experience

Reports to: Director of Operations

Location: Washington, DC market
