The ideal candidate for the this position at IncredibleBank manages bank activities to meet or exceed established referral and deposit growth goals. Primary responsibility will be to attain new customer relationships and retain and grow existing relationships. Will also be responsible to ensure that we are personally committed to consistently exceeding customer expectations every time, everywhere. Plans, directs and controls bank sales and office operations, ensuring that established policies and procedures are followed and delegating responsibilities as needed to meet office objectives. Maintains daily contact with bank staff, frequent customer contact, and also has constant contact with industry and community associations in the course of developing business activities. Performs all duties in accordance with IncredibleBank’s Vision, Mission, and Core Values (Customers, Excellence, Ethics, Employees, and Communities).

Manages relationships with a portfolio of assigned clients. Meets with clients, assesses financial needs and goals, recommends deposit, and/or strategies and products, and makes referrals to other lines of business. Responds to and resolves inquiries related to customer accounts and executes and verifies transactions upon request. Seeks to expand client base through referrals and growth of assigned accounts.

Manage product promotions and update the customers accordingly of the latest promotional offers.

Creates competitive analysis reports, organize sales campaigns, send business and news updates to clients and customers.

Coaches and directs the work of a team of financial specialists who are responsible for selling organizational products or services. Establishes individual sales quotas and tracks performance against expectations. Develops and implements specialized or targeted sales strategies. Provides competitive assessments, product or sales training, or pricing and contracting assistance to the sales team. Assists marketing, advertising, or related departments in promoting the organization's products or services. May oversee lead generation and/or qualification.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Sales Management (80%)

•Identify needs and refer customers to business partners within and across lines of business who can best meet those needs.
•In consultation with the Community Bank President and Regional Community Banking Managers, develops and implements short-and long-term plans for achieving branch growth, deposits, sales, fee income and service goals. Manages and inspects sales efforts on a daily basis by setting individual goals and coaching sales staff. Establishes goals that are: specific and measurable for referrals that include selling and cross selling by product and transactional volumes, all with a consistent emphasis on total customer banking relationships, growing existing relationships and truly delivering a great customer experience. Documents short and long term plans in a business plan format.
•Manages, directs, understands, delegates and/or participates in all bank operations to ensure all company services are made available to customers and are processed accurately and efficiently. Ensures the bank is equipped with all required supplies and promotional materials to optimally sell bank products. Delegates various operational duties to the staff and assumes overall administrative responsibility for bank operations.
•Facilitates “Critical Linkage Meetings” to manage development and maintenance of client relationships and identify referral opportunities throughout Business Banking, Home Lending, IB Insurance, and Community Banking Departments.
•Supervises and has knowledge of the opening and maintenance of all savings, checking, and deposit services of bank customers.
•Meets individual sales accountability expectations.
•Develops, maintains and cultivates community and new business contacts with important market sources to enhance bank visibility and maximize business development opportunities (Centers of Influences, Prospects, Identified Customers, etc.).
•Identifies, plans, and facilitates opportunities to host community events and activities.
•Utilizes organizations customer relationship management software (Synapsys) to enter and log all sales activities on a daily basis and hold staff accountable to the same activities.
People Management (20%):
•Sets clear expectations and maintains accountability that drives results.
•Acts as a mentor/coach to develop employees to reach their desired career path.
•Invests time and effort with employees relative to their career development.
•Communicates effectively to ensure that information is passed on to those employees who should be kept informed.
•Demonstrates support for innovation and organizational changes needed or implemented to improve the organization’s effectiveness (initiating, sponsoring, and implementing organizational change). Helps other to successfully manage and/or accept organizational change.
•Selects, trains, develops, schedules, assigns work to, manages and reviews job performance of retail bank staff. Interviews and hires quality staff that is engaging, verbal, and confident, and possessing strong relationship sales abilities.
•Becomes Incredible Bank Product expert and coaches team though product training sessions to help staff fully understand the features and benefits that our products offer.
Audit Compliance:
•Upholds the company’s philosophy and all policies by maintaining appropriate controls to assure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, thereby fulfilling legal responsibilities and enhancing the quality of our organization. Responsible for ongoing compliance and management of all required training and compliance requirements (i.e. CIP, BSA, CTR, SAR, etc.).
•Ensures the bank meets all aspects of the audit checklist. Helps Financial Specialists and others to resolve balancing problems and authorize over/short adjustments in accordance with IncredibleBank policies and procedures.
•Oversees the general maintenance of the facility. Reports equipment and building status; recommends and arranges for building improvements. Maintains a neat and professional atmosphere at all times. Ensures all security procedures are strictly followed. Protects all funds, physical assets and property of the bank within budget in cooperation with IncredibleBank Facilities and Security Employees.
•Perform other related duties as required or assigned that are in the spirit of this job description and position as necessary for the Bank and the Department to function effectively. Will be expected to know how to execute and perform duties and responsibilities of the Assistant Market Manager, including customer transactions such as deposits, loan payments, stop payments, account holds, etc.

Education/Experience

•Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four year college or university.
•Five+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Software Skills

•To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Windows/Microsoft Office software (Outlook and Word) and proficient (ability to move and direct curser, tab, page down, etc.) keyboarding and ten-key skills. Previous experience in using electronic devices (computer, Smart Phone, I-Pad, Tablet, etc.) and mobile banking products preferred.

Travel

•Occasional business travel needed within market
