Human Resources Coordinator - Roundhouse Group, Inc.


Roundhouse, a rapidly growing developer of diverse real estate projects, is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the position of Human Resources Coordiator. Founded in 2008, we have operations in four states with 2,500 multi-family units and over $600,000,000 of assets under management. We are looking for an efficient Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to undertake a variety of HR administrative duties. You will facilitate daily HR functions like keeping track of employee records, employee relations, compensation, compliance, benefits administration, recruiting and employee onboarding. This position reports to the Sentior Vice President of Property Operations and is based in Boise, Idaho.
Key Responsibilities

- Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance
- Foster positive employee relations and work to solve any employee issues that surface
- Maintain records of personnel-related data such as payroll, personal information, leaves, and turnover rates to ensure all employment requirements are met
- Manage benefit plans, including health care, retirement, Workers Comp, etc.
- Assist in the full hiring process of employees, including recruitment, shortlisting applicants, interviews, verifying work-history and references, and tracking of new possible candidates in HRIS
- Help with newhire procedures, including organizing employee orientation, creating new employee files, administering employee handbooks, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is properly filled out and submitted to appropriate persons
- Liaise with other departments or functions such as payroll and accounting
- Assist supervisors in performance management procedures
- Schedule meetings, interviews, and HR-related events for the Property Services Division
- Coordinate training sessions and seminars
- Make sure all health and safety regulations are followed
- Prepare materials and help coordinate employee performance reviews
- Execute all employee termination procedures, including advising employees on their rights and any benefits they are entitled to
- Developing, revising, and recommending personnel policies and procedures
- Maintaining and revising the company's handbook on policies and procedures
- Assist in HR projects, like the collection of employee feedback


About You
- Proven experience as an HR coordinator or relevant human resources/administrative position
- Willing to take initiative and work independently when needed
- In-depth understanding of sourcing tools, like resume databases and online communities
- Familiarity with social media recruiting
- Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices
- Enthusiastic, motivated, team-player
- Energetic, warm, and welcoming
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Strong ability in using MS Office (MS Excel and MS Powerpoint, in particular)
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle data with confidentiality
- Good organizational and time management skills
- BSC/BA in Business Administration or relevant field is preferred; additional education in Human Resource Management will be a plus
- 2+ years of relevant experience in HR work
