Share Email Opening Title Survey Crew Chief  Description Our downtown Minneapolis office has an opening for a Survey Crew Chief! This role will support the survey department by providing measurement and mapping for preparation of typical projects such as existing condition topographic, boundary, easement, plats, as-built surveys and construction staking. Responsibilities: Adjusts and operates surveying instruments Operates and manages field computer uploading, downloading and storing data Analyzes, compiles notes and data obtained from surveying into computer in the field or in the office Performs duties such as staking, clearing brush or carrying equipment Requires working technical knowledge of measuring and mapping and data collection practices Requires proficiency with appropriate technology and computer software such as Total Station, Global Positioning System (GPS) or Differential Leveling related to field Performs specific technical assignments as directed by the Survey Crew Chief or Land Surveyor Interacts with contractors and/or clients on a project site may be necessary   Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Open Date 2/25/2020   Number of Openings 1   Location Minneapolis, Minnesota   EOE Statement We are an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
