GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Performs recordkeeping and service oriented duties in the daily operation of an assigned senior nutrition site; assists in the recruitment of volunteers and coordinates transport of seniors; works under the supervision of the Sr. Food Coordinator; performs related duties as required.
STATEMENT OF TASKS:
Assists in the implementation and maintenance of the state approved reservation system;
Directs and assists volunteer staff in serving meals and cleanup at the nutrition site while maintaining proper sanitation procedures;
Assists in the recruitment and training of volunteers in the areas of transportation and serving meals;
Conducts fire and tornado drills bi-annually and drafts and posts emergency exit plans;
Monitors food temperatures daily;
Monitors site participants and collects program income based on state approved methods;
Maintains all records necessary to ensure USDA eligibility;
Maintains client intake forms;
Secures supplies and equipment for assigned nutrition site;
Attends staff meetings and other meetings which apply to the improvement of delivery of services as required.
