Share Email Opening Title Adoption Specialist  EOE Statement Ascentis is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.   Description The Adoption Specialist is responsible for ensuring Ascentis clients have access to relevant and up-to-date training content. This role works cross-functionally across Ascentis to ensure clients’ training needs at every phase of the client lifecycle are met. Utilizing a variety of training methods and tools, the Adoption Specialist creates, publishes, and keeps updated all client facing training material. Cultural Norms: What is a day in the life of a Specialist? The Adoption Specialist’s day is focused on creating training content, working collaboratively with others across Ascentis, as well as working directly with clients. The Adoption Specialist must be extremely organized and self-motivated to ensure deadlines are met. They must have the ability to successfully multi-task, as well as prioritize requests from several departments at any given time. Much of the Adoption Specialist’s day is spent creating scalable documentation and training content that can be used across all avenues from implementation to a client’s ongoing growth with our product suite. At times they are required to give live trainings, either in person or virtually. The Adoption Specialist also works collaboratively across departments to determine knowledge gaps and training needs for both internal and external audiences.   Position Requirements What are we looking for in a candidate? 3+ years of Ascentis product experience, preferred Software training and/or documentation experience, preferred Proven track record of setting and managing to deadlines Experience with multiple Ascentis products, preferred Ability to interpret complex processes and deliver easy to use content Strong presentation skills as well as experience with virtual meeting presentations Excellent technical writing skills with a creative outlook on how best to present information Ability to recognize training opportunities driving measurable client outcomes Passion for training and helping clients learn how to optimize Ascentis products Ability to utilize a variety of training methods to meet different learning styles Enthusiasm and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment Strong and adaptive communication skills enabling you to work with and develop strong relationships with a variety of personalities and learning styles Ability to function within a defined process, while still having the capacity to see the big picture and step outside the box where appropriate A team player who is focused on providing an exemplary client centric experience Travel required ~10%   Location Minneapolis   About the Organization The Ascentis mission is to create innovative products that are easy to use for the often under-served mid-market that cover the full Human Capital Management (HCM) suite.
