Description

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan is looking for a dynamic Human Resources Administrator who can fulfill the following job requirements (may include additional responsibilities):

  • Provides direct support to the Vice President of People & Culture
  • Responsible for ensuring that all appropriate notices and policies are communicated to the employees.
  • Establishes and maintains Sharepoint internal site and bulletin boards for the posting of legal and corporate notices as well as.
  • Provide administrative for Board of Directors Meetings (including preparation and reports)
  • Assists in preparing an annual plan of training programs to maintain a high level of employee morale and promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Informs leadership of any shifts in manpower levels, potential legal problems, pending terminations, pending retirements and other related situations.
  • Provides initial interview to all individuals under consideration for employment.
  • Responsible for being familiar with federal, state and local statutes involving talent management and employee relations.
  • Answers employee questions regarding the benefits package or other employee agreements and programs.
  • Maintains personnel files for each employee in an organized and secure manner.
  • Inputs appropriate information to maintain the employee database in Paychex.
  • Acts as the first line of employee support by:
    • filing routine workmen's compensation forms
    • assisting employees with medical claim forms
    • distributing employee handbooks and materials
    • facilitating employee onboarding
  • Provides appropriate paperwork to individuals seeking positions.
  • Inputs and maintains Paychex data for each employee.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
 
Position Requirements
  • Bachleor's degree
  • 4+ years of Human Resources experience
  • Experience with Paychex's full suite of services
  • Detail-oriented, organized, flexible with excellent communication skills
  • Sharepoint proficiency
  • Ability to work well individually or on a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
