Position Requirements

Education:

Nurse Practitioner

-Completion of an Accredited Master’s Level Advanced Nurse Practitioner Program in any of the following areas:

-Family Nurse Practitioner

-Acute Care and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

-Active unrestricted Advanced Nurse Practitioner license in any U.S. State or Territory in any of the following areas:

-Family Nurse Practitioner

-Acute Care and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

-National Certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners or American Nurses Credentialing Center in any of the following areas:

-Family Nurse Practitioner

-Acute Care and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

-Maintain valid, unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) License.

-Must maintain an active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license from any U.S. State or Territory.

Or

Physician Assistant

-Completion of an Accredited Master’s Level Physician Assistant Program.

-Active Physician Assistant National Certification by NCCPA

-Active unrestricted Physician Assistant License in any US State or Territory.

-Maintain valid, unrestricted U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) License.

-Mandatory Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Qualifications:

-Knowledge of, and sensitivity to, cultural and language differences.

-Interpersonal skills in handling interactions with hospital staff, other agencies, groups, and patients and families.

-Technology Skills: Competent in use of Electronic Medical Records

-Ability to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the health care team.

-A record of satisfactory performance in all prior and current employment as evidenced by positive employment references from previous and current employers.
