We are seeking a Navy FMS Waterfront Manager. The person in this position will be part of a team based in Washington, DC at the customer's offices in the Washington Navy Yard and in TCG's offices across the street from the Yard in Maritime Plaza. TCG manages multiple programs out of our Maritime Plaza Office and this team will work alongside a premier group of ship design engineers and Navy acquisition analysts, as well as TCG support staff and senior leaders. The person in this position will support PMS 326 in a contract effort which encompasses administrative and technical support. This person and the team will work under the direction of a TCG Program Manager to interact with NAVSEA personnel at various activities and echelon levels and occasionally other U.S. Navy and Government organizations coordinated by the NAVSEA Country Manager.

 
Position Requirements

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

  • At least five (5) years’ experience managing complex projects involving naval ships and combat systems is required.
  • Experience in naval shipbuilding and overhaul in public or private shipyard environment is required.
  • Experience in managing a large and diverse group of individuals ranging from professionals to industrial workers is required.
  • Experience managing schedules for large, complex projects is required.
  • Active Secret Clearance Required

 

Desired Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in one of the following disciplines: Engineering, Physical Science, Business or Financial Management.
  • FMS experience 

This position is contingent upon and subject to the award of the contract from the government. You will be hired on a contingency basis.
