The Columbia Group, Inc. (TCG) is a fifty-year-old small business specializing in Navy/maritime ship acquisition and design, as well as financial management and IT. We have a growing workforce across NAVSEA program offices and multiple ship programs headquartered in Washington, DC on and near the Washington Navy Yard. TCG is seeking a Navy Logistics Analyst (FMS) to support PMS 326.

The International Fleet Support Program Office (IFSPO) PMS 326 executes and administers Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases. PMS 326 primarily provides follow-on technical support (FOTS) to foreign navies. The purpose of this program is to provide eligible Foreign Navies access to a broad range of Life Cycle Support and other related services associated with the acquisition, operation, upgrade, modification, modernization, and maintenance of naval vessels within their inventory. The size and complexity of assigned FMS cases vary widely. The purpose of this contract is to assist PMS 326 in day-to-day management of Security Assistance programs and assigned FMS cases.

The person in this position will be part of a team based in Washington, DC at the customer's offices in the Washington Navy Yard and in TCG's offices across the street from the Yard in Maritime Plaza. TCG manages multiple programs out of our Maritime Plaza Office and this team will work alongside a premier group of ship design engineers and Navy acquisition analysts, as well as TCG support staff and senior leaders. The person in this position will support PMS 326 in a contract effort which encompasses administrative and technical support. This person and the team will work under the direction of a TCG Program Manager to interact with NAVSEA personnel at various activities and echelon levels and occasionally other U.S. Navy and Government organizations coordinated by the NAVSEA Country Manager.

 
Position Requirements

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Six (6) years’ experience in logistics planning and execution activities supporting a surface combatant program/project office (i.e., NAVSEA, NSWC, planning yards) is required, to include at least one (1) year of experience in four or more of the following ILS elements:
    • maintenance planning,
    • support and test equipment,
    • technical documentation,
    • supply support,
    • computer resources,
    • facilities,
    • manpower and personnel,
    • packing/handling /transportation,
    • and training.
  • Active Secret Clearance Required

 

Desired Education, Skills, and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • FMS experience
