Grounds Laborer (Temporary) 

Description

This is your opportunity to join Woodland Park Zoo as a Grounds Laborer with the Facilities Team! There are two temporary, part-time, non-benefited positions to be filled in support of Woodland Park Zoo's Summer season.

What you’ll do:

  • Create an inviting space for visitors and guests through daily cleaning of public areas, pathways, event spaces, and restrooms.
  • Perform routine manual work in a variety of indoor and outdoor work areas.
  • Provide customer service to guests while you work.
  • Assist in setup and breakdown of equipment, furniture, and tents for all public and private events.

When we’ll need you:

  • This is a temporary, part-time, non-benefited opportunity and your work schedule will be determined with your supervisor.
  • You'll be supporting us during our Spring and Summer seasons (Summer season ends August 31).

  • You can take direction and perform detail oriented, occasionally repetitive tasks.
