The Payment Services Product Manager at IncredibleBank will have contemporary knowledge about America’s domestic financial payment channels, including the value chain, industry trends and regulatory requirements. They will be responsible for the over-all performance of the Bank’s credit and debit card portfolios for both consumer and commercial cardholders; thus effectively managing vendor relationships. They will have proven success managing multiple priorities and have experience with project management protocols. Pursuing the mastery of all software capabilities and troubleshooting system challenges and solutions will be an essential duty. The incumbent must demonstrate higher level written and verbal communications skills to effectively collaborate at various levels, as well as across the organization, often times leading internal strategic partnerships with the following:
1) Online & Community Bank to optimize welcome, onboarding and retention activities;
2) Marketing to promote product awareness;
3) Finance to construct income projections;
4) Deposit Operations to provide service level expectations;
5) IT to enhance feature/functionality capability and;
6) Executive Management to provide awareness and recommendations.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Create and execute a cohesive strategic card product plan that optimizes: debit card issuance, activation and utilization and; credit card portfolio performance. Have command of the intricacies of each card-based payment product and serve as the in-house expert on credit and debit product-related issues. Primary contact for compliance functions related to card specific regulatory requirements. Responsible for effective enterprise-wide dissemination of knowledge about card-based products and services offered by the Bank. (60%)
• Champion product development, product enhancements, product elimination, and new feature/functionality that deliver best in class solutions that lead to optimum customer service, quality, accuracy and responsiveness. Work with all levels of management in product development, as well as collaborate with internal departments on evaluation, implementation launch, and ongoing servicing. (15%)
• Track and report on progress of various department projects and initiatives as they relate to Deposit Operations strategic plan. (10%)
• Primary responsibility for all Deposit Operations KPIs, conduct industry trends and peer group comparisons. (5%)
• Monitor industry trends consumer/commercial demand and evaluate both FI and non-traditional competitor practices and pricing. Leverage industry data, market research, key learnings, and best practices to add value and deliver relevant insights and data rich recommendations. (5%)
• Develop annual and ongoing financial forecasts, manage actual variances to plan, including identification of corrective tactics as they develop (across both short and longer-term horizons). (5%)
Education/Experience
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university
• Three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience emphasizing
• Credit & debit card ecosystem
