Relevant du superviseur des achats, l'acheteur est responsable d'approvisionnement pour les composants, les matériaux et les services dont l'entreprise a besoin.

Responsabilités :

  • Procéder à l'achat de matériaux selon les recommandations du système ERP/MRP (composantes, matières premiers et services);
  • Créer et maintenir les paramètres d'achat et d'items dans la base de données (MOQ, Min-Max, prix, etc.);
  • Maintenir les niveaux des stocks;
  • S'assurer que les fournisseurs respectent les dates de livraison et évaluer leurs performances;
  • Travailler en équipe avec les départements de réception/inspection pour assurer le flux de matériaux;
  • Coordonner et superviser la résolution de problèmes avec les autres départements (livraisons, comptes payables, RTV, etc.);
  • S'assurer que les dossiers des fournisseurs sont à jour;
  • Maintenir et optimiser les relations avec les fournisseurs;
  • Identifier les retards de matières premières qui pourraient affecter le programme de production et les expédiez au besoin.
  • Garder une communication efficace avec la planification, l'ingénierie et gestionnaires de programmes;
  • Identifier les opportunités de réduction des coûts;
  • Effectuer toutes autres tâches selon les besoins du département;

Job description:

Reporting to the Purchasing Supervisor, the Buyer will be responsible to supply products, raw material and services the company needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Purchase material according to ERP/MRP system recommendations (components, raw material and services;
  • Create and maintain parameters of purchases and items in the database (MOQ, Min-Max, price, etc.);
  • Maintain stocks level;
  • Make sure that suppliers respect delivery dates and evaluate their performance;
  • Work in collaboration with the receiving/inspection department to maintain the material flow;
  • Coordinate and oversee conflicts resolution with other department (delivery, accounts payables, RTV, etc.);
  • Check if suppliers files are up to date;
  • Maintain and optimize relationship with suppliers;
  • Identify ray material delays which could affect the production's planning and, if need it, ship them;
  • Keep an effective communication with planning department, engineering and project managers;
  • Identify the opportunities to lower the costs;
  • Perform any other task according to the department needs.
 
Position Requirements

Exigences :

  • Baccalauréat en gestion des opérations, administration ou autre domaine connexe;
  • Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience dans un poste similaire;
  • Expérience pertinente dans le domaine manufacturier;
  • Expérience avec un système de type ERP/MRP;
  • Très bonne connaissance du logiciel Microsoft Office (particulièrement Excel);
  • Capacité de lire de dessins d’ingénierie;
  • Connaissance de standard de normalisation qualité tel qu’ISO9001 ou AS9100;
  • Certification CPIM de APICS un atout;
  • Bilinguisme français/anglais oral et écrit;

Requirements:

  • Baccalaureate in operation management, administration or other related diploma;
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Relevant experience in manufacturing company;
  • Experience with ERP/MRP type of system;
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Office (more particularly Excel);
  • Ability to read engineering drawing;
  • Good knowledge of ISO9001 or AS9100 standards;
  • APICS’s CPIM certification is an asset;
  • Bilingualism is essential both written and oral (French and English).
