POSITION SUMMARY: BASIC FUNCTION
The Project Manager will keep the department focused on high priority, important projects, and meeting deadlines.
The Project Manager independently manages all aspects of departmental projects, internal and external, including:
Project definition,
Scheduling,
Calendaring,
Meeting management,
Milestone tracking,
Scope management,
Risk management,
Change management,
Communications, and
Status reporting.
The Project Manager serves as the principal conduit between the department and other stakeholders to bring accountability and transparency to department projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Works directly with attorneys on development of project plans, budgets, timelines and documentation of clearly defined scopes and assumptions.
Works with others to determine clearly articulate project and communicate objectives, timelines, and dependencies.
Follows up with stakeholders; reports progress, and proactively escalates issues and risks that require executive attention.
Coordinates and leads project status meetings and provides status reporting to ensure that projects remain on track and project stakeholders are informed of status and related issues.
Documents and publishes meeting agendas, presentation slide decks, and associated minutes, along with maintaining a rolling action items list.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships across NTT companies and geographical regions, including Japan, UK, South Africa.

Strong/Excellent Skills in:
Project management methodologies, processes, and industry standard tools; and experience with customer (internal and external) interaction and leading teams.
Communication. Ability to distill complicated projects and issues into short, cadenced executive briefings.
Problem solving, critical thinking and interpersonal skills.
Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, Project, and PowerPoint.
Results oriented - meticulous management against schedule, scope and budget in a highly organized and time effective manner.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
5 -10 years’ experience
Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Primarily sitting at desk with some walking, standing, and bending.
Able to hear and speak into a telephone.
Close visual work on a computer.
Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate any required computer keyboard, mouse, and other technical instruments.
Able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
WORK CONDITIONS: Telecommuting environment with extensive daily computer use.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Full time remote position with the ability to travel to one of data center locations as needed
Must possess a current, valid state-issued driver’s license.
Occasionally has to work outside normal business hours.
