NOW HIRING - Team Lead for our In-home Care Worker program working 2 pm - 10 pm including an every other weekend rotation and additional hours when needed. JOIN US TODAY!!!

Do you have the desire to help others lead more fulfilling lives? Work with clients in their own home. Performing various duties including personal cares, general housekeeping, outings, meals, medical appointments, medication administration and companionship. As a Team Lead, this position is responsible for setting a good example for co-workers, maintaining good attendance, responsible and possessing a positive attitude. Assists developmentally, physically, and cognitively disabled adult individuals by providing personal cares, self-care training, implementation of behavior management plans, and accompanying support during social/recreational opportunities, either in the client's own home or the community at large. This position is responsible for the quality assurance of clients which includes but is not limited to treating residents with respect, assuring them of their rights, and providing them a safe environment to live in. This is an ideal position for someone who wants a rewarding career and has a genuine desire to help others.

Opportunity Inc. offers full time staff a hiring bonus of $1,600 (paid in 4 increments within the first year), $200 training bonus (once all required new hire trainings have been completed), and 16 days of paid time off in your first year!

Mileage reimbursement is paid as long as staff keep the company up-to-date with their most current and valid vehicle insurance policy.

 
Position Requirements

Qualifications and Physical Requirements:

  • Must be 21years of age or older, hold a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years, and have a good driving record
  • Driving positions require proof of personal vehicle insurance
  • Personal Care Worker experience preferred
  • Ability to pass a criminal and caregiver background check
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening including drug test, physical evaluation, and 2 Step TB Test
  • The employee must frequently lift, support, and/or move up to 75 pounds and occasionally lift, support, and/or move up to 100 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and walk for up to 5 or more continuous hours without sitting down
  • Frequent to occasional, bending, squatting, twisting, and reaching
  • Must be caring and compassionate, and want to make a difference in the lives of our clients
