Hilldrup has an immediate need for an entrepreneurial, motivated, self-starter with exceptional interpersonal and negotiating skills to join our team of sales professionals. The ideal candidate will be strategic and results-driven.

Candidates must develop and exhibit a strong commitment to promoting Hilldrup's corporate moving, storage and relocation services to our competitive corporate and relocation accounts.

The selected candidate will report to the Senior Vice-President of Sales and Client Services.

Responsibilities

  • Executing customer-focused sales strategies that will support the achievement of individual , department and company revenue and profit goals;
  • Prospecting, estimating/selling and closing of new business within Hilldrup's competitive corporate moving services line and relocation services;
  • Providing needs analysis to potential customer ensuring we are selling appropriate relocation services.
  • Managing the customer sales cycle to include:
    • communicating with customers,
    • coordinating customer services with Hilldrup branch and GoRelo employees;
  • Adhering to established sales techniques with a strong focus on ethical business dealings, consistent with Hilldrup's values;
  • Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of relocation services and customers' issues and needs;
  • Performing virtual pre move estimates for customers when required;
  • Staying abreast of industry trends.

 
Position Requirements

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales and/or equivalent years of experience (3-5 years);
  • Previous moving industry experience strongly preferred;
  • Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) designation highly desirable;
  • Proficiency using CRM systems;
  • Ability to autonomously problem solve complex customer issues, leading to favorable and cost effective outcomes;
  • Self-motivated and comfortable with autonomous work;
  • Exceptional negotiation skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Outstanding financial and business acumen;
  • Outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to effectively develop and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team;
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and strong attention to detail;
  • Adept regarding the use of technology;
  • Commitment to highest ethical practices.
