The Ascentis Integration team is made up of driven analytical individuals who came to Ascentis to make a difference in the realm of EDI. As an Integration Analyst, you will be a key member of the team and the primary responsibility will be to build, test and implement payroll, HIPAA 834 and custom integration files to various carriers.

What are the general responsibilities of the position?

  • The Ascentis Integration Services Analyst creates and maintains high quality data integrations from Ascentis HR to insurance carriers and other enterprise systems. You work with clients to launch their connections, gathering key information in a timely manner. You synthesize client information, and commission the development of a data feed to an insurance carrier (or other third party). You closely coordinate with clients to resolve any and all issues found in the testing process, and close out client projects. At the conclusion of each product, clients have an automated data feed to their insurance carriers, removing paper and streamlining formerly cumbersome processes.
 
Position Requirements

What are we looking for in a candidate?

  • Strong knowledge of XML or other markup language.
  • Experience writing SQL queries and working with databases.
  • Familiarity with file formats such as CSV, fixed length, delimited, HIPAA 834
  • Technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new technology.

Education/experience/technical considerations:

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent written communication, verbal communication, active listening and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with little direct supervision.
  • Is detail oriented and process driven
  • Ability to communicate well with both technical and non-technical people with a great deal of patience.
  • Conveys a high level of professionalism and customer service skills.
  • Experience in human resources environment and benefits knowledge a plus.
  • Good Project Management/organizational skills
