Description

Culinary positions available in all outlets. From casual to fine dining, the cook prepares food in assigned areas ensuring high quality food is served quickly and consistently to meet the expectations of our guests. This position will exhibit excellence in cultivating the Edgewood Vision by executing both employee and guest engagement standards.  

·        Memorize recipes and procedures; make recommendations for menus. 

·        Cook food in accordance with management specifications; assemble meals.  

·        Stock and clean work area; work safely and report any maintenance needs. 

·        Communicate with “front of the house” and chef; keep management informed of food quality.

·        Assist co-workers as needed.

·        Proper labeling and dating product at all times. 

·        Practice FIFO

·        Ability to Grill and Sautee accurately. 

·        Ability to work multiple stations / float when assistance is needed. 

·        Stock and clean work area; work safely and report any maintenance needs.

·        Food Safety and other applicable Sanitation Certification

·        Ability to work proficiently on all Kitchen Stations and Culinary Demographics

·        This position will exhibit the Edgewood Mission Statement, Core Values and Vision Statement. 

 
Position Requirements

•At least one year of cooking experience.
•Knowledge of kitchen operations.
•Professional attitude, good organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills.
•Ability to work under changing conditions and periods of changing priorities.
•Available to work varied shifts when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
