Proton Technologies, Inc. is a third-party IT services company that provides IT support and amazing customer service to over 200 auto-dealership clients across the country. We prioritize client relationships and enjoy the personal level of attention we give them. We are not the normal "ticket, ticket, ticket" IT support shop. Proton likes to keep the stress level low, the fun level high, and the quality of life excellent for our team. IT Support is a commodity, AMAZING service is not! 

 

Currently, Proton has an immediate opening for a Full-Time Technical Sales Representative to join our Headquarters team in Raleigh, NC. Under the director of the CEO, the Technical Sales Representative is responsible for a variety of presale processes including (but not limited to) data analysis, sales quoting, and delivering initial estimates to clients. Through both virtual and in-person communication with clientele, the Technical Sales Representative must maintain a high level of professionalism and have a passion for problem-solving.  

 
Position Requirements

Primary Responsibilities of the Technical Sales Representative:

  • Execute client calls and answer any follow-up questions or concerns.
  • Assess the market through constant analyses of competitor trends and new sales opportunities. 
  • Consistently gather and analyze data from technical partners/sales representatives. 
  • Generate a range of quotes for managed services based on internal pricing models. 
  • Have a firm understanding of Proton’s technical abilities and mold that information into translatable presentations for a variety of clients. 
  • Accurately determine and deliver initial quote estimates as well as conducting proper follow-ups. 
  • Serve as a liaison for any product/service-related questions from sales partners. 
  • Travel extensively, as required, for large company projects.

 

Essential Qualifications: 

  • Must have at least 2-3 years experience in a similar sales support role. 
  • Associates or Bachelors Degree in a business related field is preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of Microsoft 365 and GSuite.
  • Exceptional customer service skills via phone and in-person. 
  • Can thoroughly analyze data and formulate up-to-date sales quotes.
  • Able to identify new sales opportunities through a persistent pursuit. 
  • Can maintain a client base through relational and professional building. 
  • Can ensure ongoing client requests through consistent communication and support. 
  • Solid understanding of general networking and IT support.

  • Ability to independently organize and prioritize work assignments.
