Major responsibilities include (not all inclusive): ARS’s selected as ARS Regional Leads will be assigned at, or within commuting distance to, the RD/MSC headquarters they are aligned with. ARS Regional Leads shall be responsible for training and oversight of all other ARSs assigned within their RD/MSCs geographic footprint. They will also be responsible for directly coordinating with RD/MSC leadership as required. Provide assistance to Army Reserve and transitioning Soldiers seeking P3 support services including job seeking, developing/enhancing resumes, assistance with job application processes, job interview assistance, and jobs skills translation from military to civilian careers. Assist military dependents, Veterans, and sister Service Members, however, USAR Soldiers and transitioning Soldiers received from TRLs take precedence. Follow up and track the Soldier’s progress and assist the Soldiers with their employment needs. Survey eligible veterans to determine interest in Army Reserve affiliation then assist them, through Army Reserve Careers Division (ARCD), with completing accession into a USAR Unit. Report veterans contacted monthly. Document the number and amount of time spent with each Soldier/dependent/veteran/sister service member. This data will be submitted within the monthly reports. Maintain active communication with private sector partners and collaborators in their individual areas of responsibility. Provide assistance with the management, oversight, guidance, and support of P3 programs in the furtherance of developing a private sector partner and/or collaborator. ARS, with support from the National Engagement Establish and maintain with private sector partners and collaborators a process that helps identify P3O private sector partner and collaborator efforts in referring, interviewing, and hiring Soldiers, Veterans, and dependents. This process will assist P3O in supporting the Chief Army Reserve’s top priorities and further promote P3O’s mission, strategic goals, and objectives. Provide monthly reports indicating industry partner efforts in referring, interviewing, and hiring Soldiers, Veterans, and dependents. Assigned to a specific area of responsibility that exists within the geographical footprint of a specific Regional Division or Mission Support Command (RD/MSC) of the Army Reserve. ARSs may be called upon to cover for one another during specific times of need. Must have knowledge, experience, and skills in the areas of military personnel and human resource matters, especially as they relate to the USAR and balancing civilian life with military service. Required to have knowledge of USAR related traditions, guidance, rules, regulations and instructions. Must apply analytical tools and techniques to the interpretation of collected data and unsolicited feedback on P3’s success or failure. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are an absolute requirement. Weekend work will be required in support of USAR Battle Assembly weekends. Weekend work will be offset by Irregular work schedules during the week to ensure 40 hours of work each week. Contractor schedules will be arranged IAW needs of Army Reserve units and soldiers. Unforeseen closures of government installations housing duty stations may require telework. Qualified Candidates must have The minimum education and experience required to perform these services/tasks include a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or related field from a college or university that is accredited by a national or regional agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Additionally, a minimum of five (5) years of work experience in human resources related positions, career counseling, or recruiting/job placement. The ARS must also possess demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in customer service skills, use of routine office equipment, Microsoft Office computer programs (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), and web-based applications. A Bachelor’s degree can be substituted for ten (10) years of experience in human resources related positions and/or recruiting/job placement. A NACI is required for this position. Other Competencies
