WAGO Corporation is seeking an individual to help develop and execute the sales, market, and application strategy for WAGO PCB Interconnect products and solutions for the market in North America.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience in a technical discipline.
  • 3+ years of proven success in Industrial and Electronic Sales required.
  • International business experience a plus.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with a passion for identifying new opportunities, persuasive/collaborative selling, and a strong work ethic.
  • Must demonstrate ability to manage varied tasks and possess excellent organizational, computer, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate business development / demand creation activities in the pursuit of opportunities to grow or capture WAGO PCB interconnect business USA /Globally.
  • Develop proficiency on interconnect products, applications and corresponding solutions to become the consultant to field sales and channel partners.
  • Identify, establish, develop and maintain relationships with engineering decision makers and contacts at potential and existing OEM accounts to understand and apply current product solutions, as well as to understand future needs as an input to product development.
  • As required by the global nature of the PCB supply chain, document design wins and provide a clean project handoff to WAGO subsidiaries in build/purchase locations.
  • Support, participate in, and lead PCB Interconnect product training for channel partners and OEM customers.
  • Work as a team player to make a difference for WAGO’s global business by sharing and applying best practices with Field Sales and the rest of the PCB Interconnect Specialist team.
  • Focus on engagement with the customer—travel as necessary to call on / train / support design efforts of 15-20 customers per week within base/assigned zone (and occasionally beyond the base/assigned zone as dictated by business opportunities, and at the direction of the National Sales Manager), with at least 50% of those to assigned target accounts.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to travel via airplane.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate an automobile for up to six hours at a time.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Travel estimate 50%. International travel and travel to corporate headquarters will also be required on a periodic basis.
